Devoid Of Light I do not believe that there is a place beneath the Earth that is home to eternal torture,
I believe that each of us are the vessels of doing evil rather than good.
We all have Black Hearts.
The wolf in sheep's clothing is jet black.
Our very soul is the Underworld; our cave of self-pleasure,
Our spiritual crypt.

Humanity had always walked in the Dark Ages; denying oneself to being sinful creatures.
We are like demons, riding on black horses across the black field;
And the goal of these Dark Vikings?
To set themselves free from suffering and eat that Bitter Fruit for only their stomachs.

The 2nd Coming      
We looked up and we saw a bright light coming down gently on us. Our hearts leaped for joy as we could feel in our hearts that our hope of His coming was finally true.
     
As He and his angels drew nearer, we heard him say:
     "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world."
     
The words echoed in the air. For a brief moment all stood in awe as our thoughts began to sink in, It is Him. He is finally here!
     
I began to run The 2nd Coming by ~victorialeon

Reclaimed "Did I not promise you that you would see God's glory?"

He almost looked hurt. His eyes, still glistening with tears, shone like a live coal fresh from the flames.

She gaped, awed into silence. Something within her started to burn as she saw Him turn towards the tomb.

"Roll away the stone," He repeated.

For a minute, no one had moved. She had rushed towards him, thinking He had wanted to see his body, saying, "Lord, please, don't…he smells…"

Now they just stood there. A tight feeling passed over the crowd, waves of cold mixed with tinges of warmth. No one dared shatter the feeling—who knew what would break loose?

Hollow         She always thought that God's eyes were hollow.

Emotionless. Empty. Like looking into a dark well that held no water at midnight. Something mysterious and unattainable, wild and supernatural. She knew that God loved, but she couldn't see how the God of Moses and Abraham could love like she did. Like humans did. It had to be something else entirely. After all, He was the beginning and the end. He was just something she couldn't comprehend. And so she prayed, night after night, looking out the tiny window above her bed at the empty, desert sky and imagined God looking down at her, imagined the inconceivable eyes and just…asked.

Blessings in Servility "Any service performed for another, so as to cater to their needs, is an honor. From the high king himself to his regal army; from the royal guards to those in service to the law; from the cup bearers to armor bearers, to inn keepers and merchants, the household servant, the farmers and even the stable hand; all have a position of nobility as it is an honor to serve. For it is only through service that we are given a means to profound understanding of humility and submission. And from this also: a means to love and respect being refined.

The Significance Of Creation God made the heavens and the earth in six days and on the seventh day He blessed it and made it holy--the week of creation.

But behind the scenes, what make this profound truth so special? On the sixth day He made man (Adam) with His own hands, He invoked realization in Adam that no companion was suitable as Adam gave names to the animals. And as Adam acknowledge this, God, causing Adam to fall into deep sleep, made a companion, a helper, a friend, a wife, from out of Adam's side. Then as Adam woke, the Lord personally brought this one last creation to Adam to name and he called her woman, Eve. Old Covenant vs New Covenant? Has anyone out there ever considered the extreme significance of Leviticus (er all the laws given to Israel aside from the 10 Commandments) and what it suggests? After randomly looking at a few verses a veil was removed: It's written that the law is abolished in Christ's flesh but do we actually 100% understand what that means and have considered it? Much of the law speaks against the pagan customs that Israel had adopted while in Egypt. God's Law (which was the heart/kind of summery of the Book of the Law) describes His character and what sin is. "Through the Law we become conscious of sin," as it is written.

inSpire Website Debut

inSpire is a creative ministry of the Pacific Union Conference‘s Church Support Services. [link]

inSpire began its web presence as a Facebook page [link] and today, May 1st, its official website came online. According to their website, “inSpire is a web community where Seventh-day Adventist members gifted in, and passionate about the creative arts, can share their ideas and creations in a collaborative way.”

The inSpire website features the interviews with numerous Adventist creatives: artists, photographers, musicians, songwriters, poets, and more. Duane Maracle shares tips for songwriting; James Bokovoy shares the story of his photography ministry; in an interview, Natasha Groschel talks about writing and producing her own music; and so much more inspiration of fellow believers using their gifts and talents to glorify the Lord.

As the website is brand new, new articles and interviews will be added. Also in the works is a Find An Artist database that will allow musicians, artists, and poets share their contact information in an online registry.

If you are a Seventh-day Adventist with a passion for reaching the world through creative arts and would like to share your story, contact inSpire via their website. I believe that this web ministry has already and will continue to be inspiring for Adventist creatives and foster positive conversations on creative arts that have, for too long, been silent in our church.
